Shipping & Delivery

All Livestock are shipped with a "AusPost” Express service (Usually takes 1 to 3 days)  Orders are ONLY shipped on Mondays. Your order must be in by Monday  10:00 am Queensland time to be able to be dispatched on Monday at 3 pm. Orders placed after the cut off time will go the Monday, the next week. (eg Orders placed on a Monday after 11.45 am, will be sent in 7 days later on Monday, Orders placed on Friday will be shipped in 3 days, Orders placed on Sunday will be sent in 1 Days ect.)

Free shipping

 

Orders over $120 are eligible for free shipping (limited time offer).

Total packaging and delivery costs for an order is a flat rate of $ 20 - to anywhere in Australia. Whether you order 1 fish or 1000 fish, the total delivery cost is the same.

Once your order has been dispatched, our courier partners will send you an email with the tracking number so you can check the progress of your delivery. Please note that tracking takes place on our couriers’ partners website and we cannot control possible delays.

 

Returns & Replacements

Due to the complicated packaging and shipping procedures involved in handling live fish and plants, as well as our commitment to the health and safety of all our specimens, we cannot accept any returns. Please make your selection carefully.

We offer a 100% live delivery guarantee on all our fish and plants. If something in your order arrives dead, or is missing, please take a photo of it in the shipping bag* and send it to us.. We'll arrange for a replace, refund or store credit for you - whichever you prefer.

*Claims MUST be accompanied with accurate photos of each fish in the original bags and a shot of all dead fish together out of the bags. (If applicable)

** Freight/Postage costs are Non-Refundable & are not able to be Claimed.

 

NT and TAS  customers

We do not ship live to NT and TAS customers due to quarintine restrictions unless you have a permit, permit holders will need to email us a copy of the permit before shipping.

 

WA customers

Cannot order plants, snails, live foods (Daphnia) or mussels - fines can apply. Western Australia customers incur a Quarantine Inspection Fee. 

 

Packing

Your fish will be carefully packed, in square bottom fish bags, with freshwater and a dose of special shipping solution. We then inject 100% pure oxygen into the bag and close it off. Your fish are then packed carefully into polyfoam boxes to keep them warn and snug during transit
